It's Coming! Jeep Gladiator Diesel with 3.0 EcoDiesel Announced

Jeep recently announced that the Jeep Gladiator Diesel is coming for 2021.

That's right. It will now be possible to equip a Gladiator with the 3.0 EcoDiesel motor with 442 lb-ft of torque and 260 horsepower.

This move comes days before the Ford Bronco reveal so maybe Jeep is feeling the pressure to add some more options to keep customers interested and excited about the brand.

As for the price, no mention of that yet but this torque-churner is already available as an option on the Jeep Wrangler JL for a not-so-insignificant $4,000 price tag in the US and, wait for it, $9,190 in Canada!

YIKES.

We can almost definitely expect similar pricing in the Gladiator for the Diesel but let's hope the cost comes down because other than the 442 lb-ft of torque, there aren't too many other financial benefits when opting for the diesel.
